Nightmare Before Christmas Nail Art Tutorial

It's already October again, and just like every store we start the Halloween theme early! This month I'll be taking part in the Clairestelle8 Halloween nail art challenge. Since there are 9 prompts in total I probably won't get to them all, but I'm gonna do as many as I can. I haven't done a challenge since NAFW so I'm excited to start this one, who else is joining this month?!

When I think of Halloween, one of the things that always comes to mind is Tim Burton's awesome "Nightmare Before Christmas" movie. I love pretty much every Tim Burton movie and I've been thinking of doing some "Nightmare Before Christmas" for a long time so when I saw that today's theme was "graveyard" I instantly thought of this scene. It was also the perfect time (excuse) to rewatch the movie while doing my nails.

For the base color I used 2 thin coats of "Midnight Cami" by Essie, which is a gorgeous deep blue with a tiny shimmer. Everything else is hand painted using the "Edinburgh Realism 3" by StylishNailArtShop and Jo Sonja's acrylic paint. For the glow in the dark ghosts and Zero I used "Glowing in the Dark Paint" by Panduro. I didn't have time to do a video tutorial so instead I made a little GIF tutorial from the progress pictures.
